How to activate the AliExpress Dropshipping center?

For freshmen, you need to register an account first and submit your information. After registration, you can see the “Go to the Dropshipping Center” and click.

If you have an account already, log in first. You will find the account section on the left side of the landing page, and then click the account.

And you can see the “Dropshipping Center” on the upper lead.

No matter which way you take, you can eventually land here (see below). And you can start to explore tools it provides. On the dash board, there are product tools. One is “Find Products to Sell”, and the other is “Products Analysis”. Let’s explore them first.

Find Products to Sell

1. Search Hot Selling products

As the name implies, this feature allows you to find trending products in AliExpress. You can search for items by typing their names.

If you are not sure about what to sell, you can browse the list and find the products. It is a good way to discover your dropshipping niche too. You can choose a product category. And then you can filter the results by price, shipping place, shipping methods, delivery time, and destination.

You can also choose to only look through products that have an Exclusive DS Price. These are exclusively discounted products that AliExpress sellers provide. There’s also an option to filter the products which offer ePacket or Free Shipping. Plus, you can also only view products that have videos.

Note: DS orders refer to the amount of people who bought this product from another dropshipper (= from your competitors).

 

2. Search by image 

If you have found specific products to sell, you can just upload the image and search, which can save you a lot of time. Pop fidget sensory toys are viral. The price on Amazon Best Sellers is $11.99. But with the tool of image search on AliEpxress, you can always find a product with a competitive price.

 

This means we’ve found a trending item in a specific niche that you can source from AliExpress for a small price and sell with a markup on your store.

How to use it?

This is the second tool that you can find on the AliExpress Dropshipping Center. There are two ways how you can use the Product Analysis tool. First, you can see the “analyze” button on the “Find Products to Sell” page.

You can also click straight on the Product Analysis tab in your dashboard:

Then copy and paste the URL of a product on the search box and you will see its overall sale volume.

What it can help?

1. Check the Sales Volume of the product

The Sales Volume is an index ranging between 0 and 100. A graph will show you the Sales Volume over a period of time. You’ll be able to tell how popular the product is and make a data-based decision before you go for selling it. In doing so, you can be sure that you base your business decisions on the actual buyers’ behavior rather than vague assumptions. 

Additionally, you should make sure to check the Sales Volume data from more than one supplier. It’s very common for many different suppliers to be selling the same product. Thus, to have an accurate view of a particular product’s popularity, you need to compare the data from multiple suppliers.

2. Check the Logistics Reliability

You can also find out how reliable the logistics of the supplier is. In other words, you can see when the products will be delivered on time. 

No matter how great the product is, if products cannot be shipped and delivered on time, you may lose some customers who may further ruin your store’s image by leaving negative reviews on social media. So, it is important to check the Logistics Reliability to see whether suppliers are trustworthy or not!
