Shopify and TikTok will cooperate in the Philippine market
Recently, Shopify and TikTok announced a partnership in the Philippine market aiming at helping Shopify sellers expand their business on TikTok. It allows sellers to target the highly interactive user community on TikTok with marketing campaigns.

 

Shopee will launch its campaign margin policy in August
To better maintain the order of official activities on the Shopee platform and ensure the quality of buyers' shopping experience under activities, Shopee will launch the activity security deposit policy in August 2021.
Sellers are required to make a commitment to sign up for activities and fulfill active orders in accordance with Shopee's policies by paying a deposit. After this policy takes effect, only sellers who have paid the activity deposit in full can sign up for Shopee official activities, while those who have not will not be able to participate in any official Shopee activities.

 

In the Netherlands, e-commerce is growing rapidly and the local market space remains to be developed
In recent years, the growth of e-commerce in the Netherlands has been rapid, the output value of e-commerce reached 26.6 billion euros in 2020. Cross-border parcel transport volume has increased by nearly 42%, showing great potential for development. At present, people tend to use Bol.com, a local e-commerce platform. eBay announces the extension of the free use period of Optiseller Aspect Finder+ to the end of September
eBay announced that it would extend the free use period of the OptiSeller Aspect Finder+ tool to September 30. The tool can quickly identify all listings under all categories that lack product details. In addition, eBay will update some product details in July, including product descriptions such as brand, color, size, etc. Categories such as commercial and industrial, collectibles, gift cards, home, and gardening will be affected. According to eBay, 55% of buyers use screening items to search for products, and in certain categories (such as fashion), this percentage may be as high as 80%.

 

More than a quarter of online spending in the UK goes through Amazon
According to data from e-commerce consulting company Wunderman Thompson Commerce, 27% of all online spending in the UK comes from Amazon. In addition, data released by Amazon on July 7 showed that the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK reached more than 65,000. The number of products sold by SMEs on Amazon in 2020 has increased from 550 million to 750 million within one year, which is equivalent to an average of more than 1,500 products sold per minute.
