Why does CJ Write a Lower Value on a Package?
CJMay. 02, 2017 08:45:341913

Some customers are complaining about the price we wrote on the ePacket package lately, so we clarify this behavior right here to eliminate the misunderstanding. First of all, everything ship from one country to another country have to declare the value. That is government policy. Frankly speaking, it is a custom policy.

Secondly, every country has different taxing standard, and the price we usually write on the package is lower than the real price.  For example, the price on the Customs Declaration showed above is $2.10, but it is far lower than actual price. That is because if we write it at a lower price, the customers will not pay for the tax. And this is very important, each parcel and each vendor have to do this. So, to declare the lower value can avoid the tax effectively.

Thank you for your time and attention. Have a nice day.
